Saturdays in June

8AM to 1PM

We will be at the Palm Springs Certified Farmers Market. It is indoors, which means air-conditioned and actually comfortable. We are bringing native plants suited for desert growing, locally made compost, and fresh eggs from our hens. Come find us, say hello, and take something home that will actually thrive out here.

Join us at the Cathedral City Library to learn how to garden and grow food at home!

Saidy Alley Healthy Path

8:00–10:00 AM

This event offers free pet vaccinations, pet food, and training support. We need volunteers to help staff resource tables, assist with registration, and guide attendees to the right locations. It is a beautiful opportunity to bring our mission directly into the community.

June 13

Community Cleanup Day Two Bunch Palms & Verbena

We are participating with New Earth Creator, in the Thousand Palms area, at the entrance of Two Bunch Palms onto Verbena. Look for our tent and the LA Disposal dumpster at the cleanup site. Together we will be clearing waste from the corridors connecting our neighborhoods, schools, parks, wastewater infrastructure, and open desert.

June 20 & 27 and July 3 & 10

Coffee with Canines

A four-week early morning group class at the sanctuary, starting at 6:30am. We build a pseudo-restaurant setup. Tables. People walking around. Other dogs. And we work on the skills that let your dog exist calmly in that kind of environment without losing their mind or yours. $75 per dog for all four weeks. Capped at 8 dogs. First come, first served.

June 21

Sprout and Sustain

A 90-minute morning workshop on desert gardening. We cover what to plant, when to plant it, how to work with the heat rather than against it, and how to build soil and water systems that actually survive a Coachella Valley summer. Every person who attends leaves with seeds or a seedling to take home and start growing. Pay what you can. 100% of proceeds support the animals at the sanctuary.
